Pennsylvania to be home of North America’s first artificial turf recycling facility

Re-Match, a Denmark-based company that recycles artificial turf, is behind the $12-million project. The facility is expected to create about 40 new full-time jobs.

Mild winter weather sees busy reopening of Kelowna, B.C. golf course

Golfers basked in 15 degrees Celsius weather on Wednesday, and 140 golfers were expected to play Thursday. The course reopened for play on Nov. 26 after shutting down for the season.


Thieves steal lawn care equipment from West Lincoln, Ont. business

Gasoline and battery-powered lawn care equipment were stolen from a John Deere business in West Lincoln, Ont. at about 11 o’clock on the morning of Nov. 11.
